About this Event

Meeting starts at noon, lunch will be provided.

In 2020, the CDC found that men working in construction have one of the highest suicide rates compared to other industries. Their suicide rate is about four times higher than the general population.  This shocking statistic has plagued the industry for a number of years.  It’s time to get personal with those you work with and start tackling the stigma that comes with mental health issues and discussing the risk of suicide in the workplace.  It’s time to take a STAND.  Please join us on April 13th to learn more about this important topic, and how you can make a difference in the industry.

At the end of this session participants should be able to

  1. Understand the importance of mental awareness and suicide
  2. Understand how to create a culture of mental awareness and suicide prevention
  3. Identify tips and tricks to keep mental awareness and suicide prevention top of mind
  4. Understand how to take the first steps when implementing a mental awareness and suicide prevention program.
