Jasmina is a staff accountant at Pleune Service Company she has been working in the accounting department for a few years. We asked Jasmina a few questions to get to know her better. 

What do you enjoy most about working at your company?

Everyone takes pride in their work and truly cares. As well as my co-workers; I consider them more than that, they also are my friends. If I need to vent I can go into someone's office and vent or grab a drink with them after work :) 

What is your favorite thing in your office?

Matthew Stafford bobblehead.

What three things should every Construction Financial Professional have on/in their desk?

Caffeine, a calculator and white out.  

What interested you in joining CFMA and what membership benefits do you hope to attain?

My CFO is very involved so seeing all the connections she has made and how much being involved has made an impact on her career. I would love to expand my network; you never know who can make an impact on your life. 

What career advice would you give to your 18‐year‐old self?

Don't stay around somewhere if you're miserable, no one should wake up dreading going to work every day. 

What is something that you learned recently that impressed you or blew your mind?

Actually just learned it from the last chapter meeting- how tall a trillion dollars is if you stack up ones. 

What was your first job?

The drive thru at Culver's

What’s your favorite app?

Audible - I listen to a book every day especially while working. 

What do you do to unwind from work?

Cook dinner while enjoying a glass of wine. In the summer, usually relax in the backyard basking in the sun and warmth while my kids get their wiggles out.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Binge-watching reality TV shows on Bravo.

What is your favorite movie?

Sweet Home Alabama - otherwise not a big movie watcher. My husband always wants to watch a movie but usually, within 15 minutes I'm asleep.

We keep wine corks that we write date on from special occasions or new places we visit and save them in a big jar.

Anything outdoor- walking, biking, hiking. Reading, Cooking, and Spending time with friends and family.
