Community Service Opportunities

Each year, our chapter participates in community service. This ranges from physically going out and working on project to collecting donations. (Toys for Tots, C.O.V.E.,  and more).

In November we collect toys for Toys For Tots.  Please bring any donations to our November General Membership Meeting.

• C.O.V.E. (Communities Overcoming Violet Encounters).
• Kids Food Basket
• As part of our “Giving Back to the Community” commitment, the Western Michigan Chapter of CFMA collected items to send to military personnel overseas. This was an ongoing project lasting thru our May 2008 Membership meeting. We collected & Shipped 80+ boxes of goodies to our troops overseas.
• Each November we collect toys for Toys For Tots.  Please bring any donations to our November General Membership Meeting.  There is an opportunity to help with the distribution of these in December.  Watch for emails in November and December for more information.
• Our Chapter teamed up with the NAWIC Grand Rapids Chapter # 194 for the 2007 Relay For Life of Byron Center.  We challenged our members to see who could raise more money for this good cause - our general members or our associate members.
